My life has been crazy over the past week. I swear that when I started this blog I had every intention of at least posting something every two days or so, and I’m still planning on it. I have several ideas in place when it comes to this blog – series,’ standalone posts, recipes, printables, etc. – but I haven’t had the time over the last week to sit down and set them into motion. I just desperately need to put together a time management plan and follow it, strictly.
It’ll happen. I promise.
I’m linking up with a few of my fellow bloggers at A Mama Collective for her currently series where we let our readers in on what we’re currently up to. I figured that this may be a good series to start on my blog in order to catch you up on at least some of the craziness that I mentioned earlier.
Thinking about: The wedding! I’ve got most of the big things finished in terms of planning – venues, catering, cake, DJ, photographer. The invitations were sent out on Wednesday, and we’re currently down to 78 days from the big day! Now comes the decorations and the song list and the seating chart and the wedding party gifts and… gah! I’ve got a big list that I really need to at least put a dent in as soon as possible.
Reading: “Someone Like You” by Sarah Dessen. I recently got a card from the library down the street from our new house, and I’ve checked out a giant stack of books that I really want to get through. The book junkie inside of me is extremely excited about this.
Listening to: The One Direction “Midnight Memories” album… over and over and over again. My daughter can’t get enough of it, but me? I definitely can.
Watching: Brothers & Sisters. I started the series on Netflix last week, and I’m slowly but surely working my way through it.
Thankful for: My fiancée, Matt. You all probably think that I have to say this because I’m in love with him, but I’m really saying it because it’s true: he’s perfect. I’m serious. He’s been keeping me so sane when the wedding planning and daily life have been threatening to drive me up a wall. He talks me through it all when I need someone to reason with me, and listens when I need to vent about things. I cannot even begin to put into words how thankful I am for him.
