I know, I know… it’s been a while… again. I’m terrible at this whole “keeping up with updating my blog” thing. It’s awful and I always tell myself that I’ll stop doing this. I swear it! I do have several half written essay posts in my draft folder.. all of which mean a lot to me, and I always end up talking myself out of actually posting them for fear of letting people “in”… I guess. I really need to stop that.
I promise to post a few of them this month. I promise, I promise, I promise. Now I have to actually do it, right?
Anyway… though I don’t like to do many fluff pieces, I have always loved participating in the “currently” link-ups. And that’s what this is. A “currently” for the month of April. Read through it if you’d like, and head over to Anne In Residence if you’d like to participate!
making: lots of crocheted items! I’m opening an online store pretty soon that will consist of several different crochet creations, and I’m working on building my inventory at the moment. I’m also baking quite often. My husband surprised me on Christmas morning with the standing mixer I’ve had my eye on for the last few years, so I’ve been finding every excuse possible to use it!
wishlisting: several adorable little cloth diapers. Baby boy has a skin allergy to just about every disposable diaper that I’ve tried, so I’m slowly switching over to cloth with him. Now I’m just building up my stash! (BumGenius pockets are my favorites so far)
cleaning: everything. I slacked for quite a while when we first brought Landyn home from the hospital. He needed a lot more special attention than a normal newborn does, and I just didn’t have the time to clean anything. Like ever. It was terrible. I’m going room by room, closet by closet and it’s all going to go through a thorough cleaning.
posting: like I mentioned before, I’m going to be finishing a few half written essays and posting them on the blog this month. I’m also going to be working out a good writing schedule for myself so that I can work on blogging more often.
tasting: homemade peanut butter chip cookies. They’re awesome. They’re also entirely unhealthy for me, but….. eh. I’m not really caring at the moment.
